It is generally thought by those who know about such things that Estelle Abernathy is one the richest women in the United States.  Some claim she is the richest.

Others, those who have dealt with Estelle personally, also know her to be ruthless, vindictive, and deadly as a rattlesnake.  Of course, none of these people would dare express such opinions publically, or even privately.  Estelle has ears everywhere.

Thus, Estelle Abernathy is considered a leading citizen in the wealthy seaside resort of Santa Barbara.  Maintaining that illusion is vital to Estelle because it is the camouflage behind which is concealed the innate depravity underlying her relentless pursuits of wealth and pleasure.

Yet from among the victims of this malevolence come two who are determined to discover the weakness in Estelle's armor of power and corruption so they might once and for all time bring an end to her reign of perversion and immorality.  This is the story of their crusade.
