FATE'S FAULT

Monday, August 15, 2022

Kevin Turner is a young commercial photographer already near the top rung of his craft’s career ladder. Kevin is also a realist and a firm believer in the power of his arch-nemesis, Old Man Fate. That’s why he isn’t at all surprised to learn the fashion model he is supposed to spend the next two weeks shooting for a major agency client has run off with an account executive wanted by the FBI.

Determined not to let Fate get the best of him, Kevin talks the agency into substituting Kieley Bishop, a top San Francisco model Kevin dated while they were students at UC Berkeley. Kevin calls Kieley and is a little surprised to find Kieley not only available, but eager to take on the project he offers her. It seems Kieley has fallen on hard times through no fault of her own.

Thus, photographer and model embark on their photographic journey, renewing their old romance as they go. Of course Old Man Fate will not allow any such good fortune on his watch, so he disrupts the couple’s future in a catastrophic manner, causing devastation and destruction of biblical proportions . . . and it’s all FATE’S FAULT.
